Talking about Learning to Pray 4-24-13

Today I am overwhelmed at the place I have come to in my relationship with God, which was truly awesome before, and is so much deeper now, but mostly at my ability to pray... Not just to God, which that has improved by leaps and bounds, but to lead others in prayer... I am overwhelmed enough that I am crying... Tricia McAnally Tuepker andDonna Cloud Morin, thank you... Thank you for making me angrier than I can remember being at friends in a very very long time.. You all know the story but I felt like I needed to come here and tell these two bEEs how much it has changed my life... Sending them a text wasn't enough... This hive saves me every day and the whole prayer fiasco is a true testament to that... Thank you girls... And thank You my Most Amazing God... I am blessed beyond belief... :)

  Tricia McAnally Tuepker Well good heavens.. I have a couple of tears rolling down my cheeks too. CrazEE, I can honestly say I have never been thanked and blessed for making someone as mad as you were... but I kinda like it! LOL!! On a serious note, YOU have been a blessing in my life and here on the Hive. Your prayers touch me, and many others I am sure, because of the childlike wonder you see in the Lord. When you talk to Him, there is no pretense, only truth and amazement and gratitude spilling from your heart. God certainly does work in mysterious ways, He knew what He was doing when He put it on our hearts to ask you to pray, and He is never wrong! Praise Him!!! I love your CrazEE littel gutz, my friend....

  Susan Spicer Mason Ok Ms Cheryl Kile Anaya, I will give you the nutshell version... It was last summer and I was in Missouri taking care of my mom... Those two decided we needed to have a prayer every night, which we had discussed before a time or two.. On July 24thTricia McAnally Tuepker posted a prayer night schedule that her andDonna Cloud Morin had come up with.. Mine was on Monday nights... To say I was absolutely, spitting fireballs out of my eyes, furious, is an understatement... I was so mad I was shaking... They knew I had no idea how to lead a prayer or even pray out-loud... I handed my night off to somebody else the first few weeks... I think it was around Aug 6 and I was praying (Sitting in God's lap whining about what they had done to me actually), and suddenly I knew the gig was up when He said, "Why do you not trust me enough to at least try???" I posted my first prayer that night.. The rest is history... I look forward to Monday nights like nobody's business because it's my prayer night... Most of the time I am so excited about what God gave me that I also post it on my own page... God knew exactly what He was doing when I put those two girls up to that!!!! Thank You God!!!! Repeatedly...

  Tricia McAnally Tuepker Okay.. in my defense, I didn't know it would upset her so much, truly had no idea! She did let us know she wasn't happy about it but she never said NO so we just rolled with it.. and look what happened... God took care of our stubborn child!! LOL
