I love technology!! Had a blast hanging out with the boys at the game.. We strolled down that 70's lane and made fun of the uber guber lady that couldn't even remember who Iowa's mascot was when she was presenting!! Thanks guys!! Mark gets up way too early to make it through the game, so it was awesome having someone to watch it with.. :) (the "boys" I am referring to are Ralph in Wichita Falls and Gregg Steward in Miami, FL...They even told me I get a hall-pass for hanging with the game!!!)

So, Chuck and Mark spent an hour and a half running from me in the museum at the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, because they were afraid they were going to start helping me cry.. Chuck said someone was liable to slip on the huge tears I left on the polished black granite floor in the Victim's Room. It was such an emotional 90 mins.. God has so blessed me with my little broken heart..

So, I drove 2 1/2 hrs to help Missy paint, and all I accomplished was getting VERY sick.. Adding further insult ti injury, is the fact that I just singed my hair transferring candles from the LR to the BR. You see, it's now dark, so off to bed we go!! Amazingly enough, the candles and oil lamps actually raise the temp at least 10 degrees in here!! WooHoo!! Mark just handed me the remote and told me to watch whatever I wanted.. Lol!!

WooHoo!!! The power is on, and so far, has stayed on for 45 mins!!!! Yee-Ha!!!! Now to drag everything out of the freezer and cook it.. At least it had just started thawing, so I know it is edible... The freezer gets a good scrubbing out of this... Yay!!! I have so missed the news and Weather Channel!!! Haha!!
Got the freezer and fridge cleaned out, and cleaned!!! Yay!!! Now what to do with the other three hours of the 5-Hour Energy I drank... My shower felt wonderful, and I just want to say, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS and THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO!!!! They go a lot longer than 4 days at a time without one..

Yummmm!!! Got Chex Mix cooking in the oven!!! I will try not to cuss the oven out this time for burning my stuff.. Last time I did that, I realized that I had, in fact, set the temp almost 100 degrees over what it was supposed to be... Ugh!!! I HATE eating crow... It's feet, feathers, and beak, all at once.. BLECH!!! Hahaha!
Suffering from major salt overload... Why on earth do I think I have to eat the mix hand over fist while it's cooking and being stirred every 15 mins??? Naturally my favorite pieces are the super soggy ones coming up from the bottom of the pan... Which is a piece of cereal soaked in butter, worcestershire sauce, and season salt.. UGH!!! It's so good!!! Hahaha!!

Richard and Steph are bringing Ellee Mae home from the vet to keep her as comfortable as they can.. They are bringing their dog home to die.. Steph finally coaxed Ellee into eating some noodles from the low sodium chicken noodle soup Judy brought down and the next thing she knew Ellee was racing up and down the hall, wagging her tail, and just being Ellee... In Wagoner.. Air mattress, 1/2 Percocet, 2 Flexeril, tunes coming from the alarm clock radio, under the ceiling fan in the LR.. Be it ever so humble (and completely void of furniture) there's no place like home.. Life is good.. God is great..

Dear Peeps.. I meet w the surgeon in the morn.. Kim broke her arm and then found out yesterday that she has Mono.. She is so sick.. Missy is still at the ER waiting on CT results.. Most likely a concussion.. Short version: Eric trips over baby gate, hits wall, drops Missy, then lands on her.. Steph's dog, Ellee Mae is having her leg amputated in the morn.. She's really scared.. Steph, not Ellee.. Pls pray 4 us!!

Saying prayers for Steph, Richard, and Ellee Bellee.. She will be at the Vet's at 8am to have her front leg amputated.. She's such an ADD dog that she makes you laugh.. Her mommy and daddy are scared. .Any and all prayers would be so appreciated.. Also for me, Missy, and Kim.. Dear God, please protect this clumsy family..
My surgery is July 13.. Getting pins and screws.. I see a light at the end of the tunnel!! Missy has a ferocious headache today.. She has a mild traumatic brain injury (MTBI) which is fancy talk for concussion.. Kim is sicker.. Had to go get blood drawn.. Blisters covering the back of her throat.. Sounds awful and has just cried all day.. Steph is waiting anxiously to hear about Ellee.. Please pray for my babies..
Just talked to Steph.. She was almost back home.. Guess who was in the car w her?? I so know that child!!! They told her that Ellee was surprisingly alert.. Gave her instructions, meds, and Ellee.. Please, please, please, say a few extra prayers for Ellee Bellee.. She is in no way out of trouble and the next several days are going to be scary, filled with cautiously optimistic hope.. Her entire leg was removed...

Well hello new meds!!! Where have you been the last 2 1/2 months?!?! I believe you will keep me comfy until July 13.. I will TOTALLY enjoy being higher than a kite for a few days until I get acclimated to you.. Yee-Ha!! Wish I had boxes to unpack.. I can actually lean over and pick something up off the floor without my hip exploding.. I will probably have to break up with you July 13th.. It's not you, it's me..

Mono and step test negitive. All they can tell me is my blood platlets are super low. Any nusrses on here care to diganose me...

Dear new meds.. Thank you for working.. You must be stronger than I thought because I answered Momma Jerilynne's email, ended up erasing it somehow, started it again, then noticed something from me to her.. I had answered it the night before and remember nothing about it!!! I should getting used to you pretty soon.. Then I won't be higher than a kite anymore.. Shucks... hahaha!!!

31 yrs ago I dove on my bed repeatedly yesterday, gently torpedoeing in air, landing softly on my back.. Chili 4 dinner.. Scolding myself now for eating anything spicy this close to delivery. It gave me a tummy ache.. The chili had nothing to do with it hurting.. I have unknowingly been in labor since last night.. Missy is getting geared up to make her move and it's going to be epic..
6/19/1979 7:08pm Emily Melissa Dalton 7lb 13oz, 21". Happy Birthday Missy!! By now, me and Aunt June were taking turns holding you in total awe of this little baby.. She ditched her car when we met the ambulance and rode with us, coaching me.. She was in the ER with me, and the first one to hold you.. Gma Jo was not happy about that!! haha!! Everyone else was on their way from Spfd where they had been waiting.. WOW!!

So I just have to tell you this because only you will appreciate the humor! I ate like half a watermelon today (all by myself) and it took me about an hour of going to the bathroom every 15 minutes for me to realize why I was peeing so much! LOL

it just dawned on me that after 5 yrs I am living in "my home".. I had been drifting until I moved to Chickasha.. 3 yrs there and it was NEVER home to me.. I survived because I have a loving hubby.. I couldn't be more content, happy, and excited to be here.. I hope we live in this little rental for a very long time.. Rip absolutely loves it.. Mark calls the sliding glass doors her TV.. Thank you God!!

Well, we have survived day1!! Once it got settled down for the night, it got quiet pretty quick.. Meaning that once Sissy fell asleep, it got quiet.. Haha!! The dogs are enjoying each other.. Liberty loves running the yard at full speed.. No wonder her tongue is hanging out all the time!! They have been fed and I'm hoping to go back to sleep.. Hoping being the operative word.. Hahaha!!!
