10. If it sparkles or shines, IT HAS MY UNDIVIDED ATTENTION.. Birds have NOTHING on me when it comes to that.. Chuck used to threaten me with the guys carrying the straight jacket.. He claims that all he would have to do is tell them to put something sparklie on the front and that I would never even know I was being taken.. Trust me, they would give me back REAL quick!!
11. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the sky.. Even when, and especially when, it is scaring the absolute B'JESUS out of me...
12. I do not understand how anyone can live on this planet and not believe in GOD... I can't imagine the sorrows of his heart when he looks down here and sees the terrors and neglect being inflicted on his creations..

I am an odd-number person and the only symmetry I can relax with is A-Symmetry.. Go figure.. My most recent, coolest find was in the fact that Missy and I both have double S's(twice) and double 19's in our names and birthdate.. I was sitting at a calendar one day and started counting off the alphabet.. Could not believe it when I realized that S is the 19th letter of the alphabet.. I still think that is just too freaking cool!!! I told you I was easily amused.. I just realized that this entry was #13.. One of my absolute favorite numbers and guess what I was talking about??? Couldn't kick the smile off my face over that!!
14. I never knew I could love anything as much as I love my children.. Then I met my grandbabies.. Steven Robert and Emberlynn (named for EMily, KimBERlee, and Stephanie LYNN) Grayce... My heart just explodes with awe when I'm with them...
15. One of my favorite verses in the Bible is St Matthew 7:1, "Judge not, that ye be not judged." It has kept me off a 'high horse' more than once.. Something I have always been grateful for after the fact.. The older I get, the better I understand why...
16. I believe in KARMA completely.. She has kept me from doing potentially stupid things to assholes that I know deserved it.. I don't want to piss her off by trying to do her job for her.. I am very sure that the people I have engaged in physical battle with, were with her blessing.. There comes a time when you have to be willing to fight to the death for what's right.. With that being said, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!!!
17. I am a total tomboy and I love to get dirty and scraped up in some of my prettiest, sparkliest stuff.. I love being a girl as much as I love being a tomboy'.. I can thank my dad and my brothers for the love of that...

19. I went to the Daytona 500 last year.. Most AWESOME event ever!!! I can't even find the words to tell how amazing it was to be there.. Mark became a tried-and-true NASCAR fan at that race.. He now watches Pro-Football with me and I am now a College Football fan.. We are such a great pair!!
20. My life list keeps getting longer instead of shorter, and I have managed to cross a lot of things off of it!! Even crossed off a few things that were NEVER on my list.. Like a cruise.. No thanks.. Until I got scammed into going on one with Missy and five other women.. What a blast!!!
21. I want to snorkel with the fishes again, like I did in CoCoCay.. I am truly forever affected by those silly little creatures!!! They were such buddies, swimming beside you everywhere you went, circling you when you stopped, even bumping into you as if to say, "Hey!! What's up?? Let's swim!!".. It was such an amazing, spiritual thing for me.. I have written two blogs about them on MySpace and I still tear up every time I read them...
22. I am easily distracted.. I have been sent many graphics talking about this.. They always end with "OH LOOK!! A CHICKEN!!", (or a butterfly, a kitty, something shiny...) Sad but true!! Richard amuses himself by saying "LOOK!! A CHICKEN!!" and watching me stop in mid-sentence to look.. I know it's coming and yet I continue to fall for it.. I am a mess... Believe it or not, I am a very accomplished multi-tasker...
23. I am highly allergic to routine.. My routines are erratic and unpredictable.. I mowed the same yard for 9 years in Ozark, and I am quite sure that I never mowed it the same way twice!! I may be in the same spot, doing the same thing, but trust me, I WILL figure out a way to change things up.. And then I meet and marry Mark, who, by the way, is the most routine oriented person I have ever known!! How hilarious.. I guess that's what 22 years in the Army does for someone.. We are such a classic example of "opposites attracting"!!

"If there is love in your heart and your mind, it will be like Christmas all the time.", Faith Hill, "Where Are You Christmas?" from The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.. The First Noel by N'Sync is playing on my playlist as I type.. One of my all-time favorites is Vanessa Williams' version of "Do You Hear What I hear?".. The long version in fact.. Going to see the Trans Siberian Orchestra is on my "life list"...
25. I love tools.. Any kind of tool.. Simple tools, power tools, gadgety tools....you name it, I love it.. Ok wait!! I am afraid of the table saw!! They are very mean to me.. I even have a few tools in my purse..
26. I also have several lights, many lip glosses, many pens, and anything else I might need to survive in my purse... It is usually quite heavy.. I have tried to weed "stuff" out of
it, but, that's just not happening so I have accepted it the way I keep it.. What I don't have much of, is actual trash.. I can find anything without looking!!!

46. I clench my jaw like it's my job and have since I was born... By the time I was 30 I had fractured every jaw tooth in my mouth and had destroyed the discs in my jaw hinge... My oral surgeon referred to it as a pit-bull's jaw...
47. I DESPISE DUSTING!!!! Before the job is even finished the dust is already resettling... If I could I would hire someone to come to my house once a week just to dust... :)
48. I have to keep the surface of my toenails filed smooth or they will blister and turn purple as though they have been smashed... It is as painful as it looks... :(
50. The sheets getting pulled loose from the bottom of the bed will get me out of bed at 3am to remake the bed... Once they start wrapping around my ankles it's all over but the crying from Mark trying to figure out what I am doing at 3am IN THE DARK yanking sheets and covers back in place...
51. At 17 yrs old I was comfortable enough on Chuck's 750 Honda by myself that I could have outrun any car on T Hwy or any other road in SouthWest Missouri that I was used to being on... Absolute truth.. Just ask Chuck... I had a car turn in front of me on the east side of Bradleyville bridge, on that same bike, with my cousin Penny Parker on the back... I went from 60mph to stopped in about 15 ft without having to lay the bike down... The skid marks were there for over a year...
52. I am an Annie Oakley once I get used to a gun... Pretty scary good with a blow gun and a sling-shot too... Haven't got to do any archery but it is on my to-do list...

Mine are; Deep dark waters, CLOWNS, roaches ( the kind that crawl)(baahahahahahaha), unclean hands that touch something I have to touch immediately after, spiders in my house, footsteps walking toward me with nothing visible making them (Yes, more than once!!), the Mississippi River... Been terrified of it since I can remember... My mom was born and raised in Vicksburg and we spent many a holiday and vacations there... I used to think it was the old bridge... Then came the new one and I was still petrified.. So, I thought it must be bridges... Then several years ago I realized the only time I panicked was if we were going over the Mighty Mississippi... Somewhere down in Cajun country is an old family plantation known as Pittman Island that is now resting at the bottom of the river... Just thinking about those muddy swirling waters has raised my heart rate about 10 beat a minute!!

29. It is Dec 16th, 2013 so I thought I would see if my randomness has gotten better, worse, or changed at all... This is what I found....
30. Almost nothing has changed... On March 19th of this year I celebrated the 50th Anniversary of my 4th birthday.
31. I just looked at the clock and it said 11:11 which means I just got a ton of universe kisses... :)
32. I will fill in a few things I left out the first time... I eat raw dough or batter of ANY kind... Pancake, biscuit, dumpling, rolls... I left Kimberlee's house in tears about 10 years ago because she got mad at me for getting into the rolls dough... I made it all the way to Ozark before she finally said she was sorry enough and to please please come back and I could eat all the raw dough I wanted... :)
33. If you want to send me to the absolute edges of sanity, please, leave a bazillion little marks on a "supposedly" erased board.... I am NOT kidding when I say it gives me a full blown anxiety attack and I can guarantee that if the opportunity presents itself, that board will be spotless in the blink of an eye...
34. I am one of those Walmart weirdos that faces shelves and hangs things up..
35. I am a sleep-eater which is hilarious and horrifying all at the same time... We used to blame it on pain meds and Ambien but my last 3-4 excursions did not involve either one of those!! I usually have the remnants of whatever I was eating under me when I wake up.... I think my Black Licorice/ Swiss Chz/ Bliss Dark Chocolate was one of the worst... My mouth is always packed with whatever I fell asleep eating.. I AM THE ODDEST EATER I HAVE EVER KNOWN... At any point during a meal I will have my cheeks packed with different foods... I don't mix them up, I just chew from one side then chew from the other... I have caught myself with a pulled pork BBQ sandwich in one side and cheesecake in the other... Chefs salad and cinnasticks from Pizza Hut... At a friends house a few weeks ago I had steak and asparagus in one side and cottage cheese with sugar in the other...
36. I truly am a peacemaker and yet my reputation when the girls were in their teen-age years were me begging some poor soul to stop messing with me or the kids and 98% of my "tap-out" style fights have been with guys three times bigger than me and my children always had to pull me off the poor guy to save him... Brute strength is of no use when a freaking monkey has you on the ground in a choke out... Must be where Missy gets it from... Kim will just flat out fight you and Steph is terrified of it and could probably hurt us all!!!!
37. My kids call me the "whisperer" because I have that calm nature (Seriously, what a post to follow 36!!!) about me that puts crazy people, animals, and babies at ease... I have in fact been the "white flag" between a gun and some ding-a-ling because we knew the gun holder would NOT shoot me...
38. I lost my dad on Aug 15, 2012... He put a .22 under his chin and pulled the trigger.... I was sitting at a stoplight in Spfd with my mom and Steven and I felt his bullet go through my head... Didn't find out till two hours later what had knocked me to my knees so to speak... That is hands-down the toughest struggle I have EVER survived and I praise God every single day that He did not allow me to follow my dad off this earth.. I say this all the time but I just know he's at the Rainbow Bridge taking care of our fur-babies till we get there... This Christmas has been a rough one for missing him yet this Christmas I know where my dad is... Last year I did not...
39. In the middle of all the madness, 2012 brought families back in touch that should have never lost touch, gave us a bouncing, knows what he wants when he wants it, baby boy named Ryker Stephen Magruder... Watching my "baby" give birth on Sept, 14, 2012 was another surreal experience... I truly think Richard and Steph deserve a medal the size of Texas for surviving that baby with the love and patience they did... He is a cool cool kid... NOW... :)
40. I love fried chicken livers and will eat them cold out of the fridge at 3am... Yet i am the most ridiculously picky meat eater I know!!! I do prefer my steak warm pink instead of burned to a crisp so that's progress... Right?? :)

42. Feb 18, 2014... I guess I'll keep modifying this list as long as I'm breathing and keep remembering more ridiculous random stuff about me..
43. Loose hair sends me to the ends of the earth... I probably turn my shirt inside out at least twice a day to find the ones that have been irritating me... And loose hair definitely feels different than connected hair!! I wake up in the middle of the night chasing one off my pillow... Loose hair all over somebody else gives me a full blown anxiety attack... I just want to attack them with a vacuum cleaner or something...
44. I wore a tiara to my sister-in-law's funeral... I took care of her the last months of her battle with cancer and I wore my tiare every day which drove her crazy... It was only fitting that I would be wearing it when we laid her to rest.. Somewhere there is a pic of me at the cemetery with George and I have on a black dress, bright neon yellow crocs and my tiara...

I have looked down the barrel of a loaded high powered rifle, knowing the safety was off, and realizing if the person with their finger on the hair trigger of that gun flinched just a little bit, that I would die instantly... It was a life flash before my eyes moment... It was a very surreal experience... Not even ok 35 yrs later...
